Summer 2026
We have a planned pairing for Summer 2026 – Avena is our beautiful Golden Retriever. She was born in Colombia and our family bought her while we were stationed there with the military. She comes from a wonderful line of Goldens and her breeder was a veterinarian and a geneticist. She passed all of our health testing with flying colors! What first drew us to Avena and her line of Goldens was their amazingly sweet and calm demeanor. She has become a better dog every year and is just the perfect family dog!
We are happy to be pairing her with Freckles, a regal Standard Poodle. We searched all over the U.S. for the best stud to pair Avena with. We wanted a stud that was energetic, friendly, and sweet and of course free of any negative genetic traits. Freckles is all of these! He has also had extensive health testing done and is a sweet, healthy and happy dog!
Though we love Avena, her shedding is next level – so we are excited to have her wonderful personality paired with the non-shedding coat of Freckles, which should produce some beautiful, wonderfully tempered, low-shedding F1 Goldendoodles! All the puppies should be cream, apricot, to light red puppies with some white patches. Their coats should be wavy/curly and will be low-shedding (though not non-shedding or suitable for those with dog allergies). They will be adorable!
