FAQs

Are your puppies health tested?

YES! All of our breeding dogs (males and females) have had extensive health testing including hips, elbows, heart, eyes, as well as genetic testing to confirm they are not carriers for any genetic diseases.

How do we know that you are an honest breeder?

We are just starting to build our kennel program, so that’s a great question! We have been apprentice members of the Goldendoodle Association of North America (GANA) and are being mentored by a more experienced breeder for our first litter. GANA has been able to help us make good choices on the stud we choose, what testing needs to be done, and to help us make sure we’re doing everything to ensure we have happy, healthy puppies. We are committed to doing the best for our dogs and are so excited to be able to help you find the perfect furry family member!

How much do your puppies cost?

$3000 is the cost for our Goldendoodles, regardless of gender or coat color. Because of the extensive health and genetic screening and the dedicated puppy curriculum that we follow, our puppies are listed at a price that ensures our family is compensated for our financial investment and some of our time. All of our puppies have the same price and we do not discount them as they get older, as we are putting more time into training at that point. We do offer a 2-year health guarantee and they are started on their puppy vaccines, dewormed and have health certificates from our veterinarian.

How big will the puppies be?

Our puppies are expected to be between 50-70lbs. Avena, our Golden is 70lbs and Freckles is 50lbs. In a litter, there will generally be some puppies on each end of the weight range – so some will be closer to 50 and some closer to 70. You should expect a large sized dog that will be low shedding but need regular brushing and grooming.

Can we meet the dog parents?

Our studs do not live with us, so it’s not possible to meet them, but I am happy to give you information about the dog. Our females do live with us, but for their safety and the safety of the litters, it isn’t sanitary for us to let people into our home or yard. It also causes unnecessary stress to the mama dog to have strangers in her home at a vulnerable time. We will regularly share videos and photos that will help you have a window into our home, where our dogs are an important part of our family.

How does the puppy buying process work?

Once you’ve decided that our puppies might be a good fit for you, please fill out a puppy application. We will contact you within 48 hours. If you decide to move forward with a puppy from us, we will require a deposit of $800 at that time. Puppy choice is reserved in the order of deposits received. We reserve the right for first pick of the litter. We can arrange for you to meet the puppies at 6 weeks old and then we will help you choose the right puppy for you and reserve it. The remaining balance will be due on the puppy’s 8 week birthday, which is gotcha day!
