We are fully committed to only pairing dogs who have been fully health tested. We are following the Goldendoodle Association of North America’s (GANA) health testing guidelines. Avena received her advanced heart testing by a cardiologist, which is much more thorough than what would be done through a regular veterinarian. Her genetic testing was done through Embark, and we’re happy to share that with anyone who would like to see it. She also has OFA certificates for Hips, Elbows, Heart and Eyes.

The reason health and genetic testing is so important to us is because we want you to have as much time to enjoy your dog as possible. When we rule out issues such as hip problems or degenerative eye problems, it gives you more years to just love on your dog and include them in all your activities. It saves money on vet bills, it saves your dog from distress and pain and saves your family from emotional stress. A healthy Goldendoodle should live for 13-17 years – and when you make sure the parents are clear of these common health issues genetically, it means your experience with your dog will be the best it can possibly be.
